#GetAtMyPet is a “Hot or Not” for pets. Choose the most adorable puppy, kitten, or baby goat and help determine the most aww inspiring animal on the planet! You can also submit a picture of your dog or cat to enter the battle.

When you choose the cuter pet, there’s one of four a victory animations: a boxing glove punches out the losing pet, the winning pet gets a pyramid of tennis balls, the winning pet sprays water on the losing pet, or the winning pet gets a bone. Pets have a ranking and gain/lose points on each victory/loss, using the ELO system.

I designed and built #GetAtMyPet over a few weekends using python/Django, Chaplin.js / Backbone.js, LESS, and animate.css. As of writing there have been over 30k votes by 10k unique visitors.
